We love Jesus and people
Kingdom Church is a vibrant, growing, multi-generational, and multi-cultural church. We are a spirit-empowered ministry that allows the Spirit of God to have His way in our midst. We are a Kingdom people who love Jesus and are excited about worshiping Him.
Every generation has a place at Kingdom Church. We believe in team ministry and equipping all ages to share in the work of the ministry. We know that there is no ”junior” Holy Spirit, so we strive to equip believers of all ages to do what God has called them to do.
We are a Presence-centered church. We are a Worship-centered church. We are a Kingdom-minded church. We are a disciple-making ministry with a desire to see lost sons and daughters brought back into relationship with their Heavenly Father.
Mission
Kingdom Church has a mandate from God to be a beacon of light to this generation. KC is not your typical church. It’s more of a training, whose purpose is to equip believers for works of service according to Ephesians 4:11-12. What started out as a Gideon band has turned into a diverse army of believers who love serving Jesus and advancing His Kingdom.
Vision
Kingdom Church exists to become the most impactful transformative church (training center) in the world. We are a Kingdom-Minded Church. We are a Spirit-led Church. We are a Presence-Driven Church. We are
a Church that loves God and loves people.
Motto:
Our Church Motto is to Impact People, Influence Culture, and Increase the Kingdom of God – one person at a time. And everything that we do has this purpose in mind.
What We Believe – Our Core Beliefs
God: God is the supreme creator and sustainer of the entire universe who is eternal, all-present, and all-powerful. God expresses Himself through the Godhead, consisting of God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. (Psalm 50:6-7; Isaiah 44:6; John 1:12-13; John 3:15).
Bible: The entire Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God which contains His plan of salvation for all of creation. The Bible is ultimate truth and reveals God’s redemptive plan for man and every created thing. (Deuteronomy 8:3; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20).
Trinity: There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal. (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17; Matthew 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11).
Jesus: Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the Son of God, and the Son of man. He is the Messiah who was prophesied in the Old Testament and described in the New Testament as being fully human and fully divine. He has existed throughout eternity as the “Word” and is the second member of the Godhead. (Deuteronomy 18:15; Matthew 16:15-17; John 1:1-14; Acts 2:32-33; Revelation 1:13-16).
The Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the active member of the Godhead in the world today. He is the extension of God, containing the essence, power, and mind of God. In Scripture, He is called teacher, comforter, and revealer of all truth. (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38; Ephesians 1:13-14).
Salvation: The penalty for sin is death, but salvation is the means by which God saves mankind from the penalty of sin so that he may be given eternal life. The blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts. (Isaiah 53:5-6; Matthew 1:21; Matthew 27:22-66; Matthew 28:1-6; John 1:12; John 3:16; Acts 2:21; Acts 16:30-31; Romans 1:16-18; Romans 3:23-25; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-10).
Faith: Faith is the absolute knowledge that God exists and that He can and will fulfill His promises. Faith is necessary for salvation, of which, the basic elements are hope, courage, and action. (Romans 1:17; Romans 10:17; Hebrews 11:1-2; James 2:22-24).
Repentance: Repentance is the act of acknowledging one’s sins, and then resolving to fully obey God. It is evidenced by true manifested positive change. It involves a complete change in direction. It begins when God opens a person’s mind to see himself in comparison with God and His law. True repentance is the first step toward reconciliation with God, and ultimate salvation. (Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19-21; Acts 8:22).
Water Baptism: Water baptism is a symbolic act to publicly profess one’s salvation. God commands it, but our salvation is not reliant upon it. We practice full-immersion baptism, symbolizing the process of death and resurrection that Jesus went through for us. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38).
Baptism Of The Holy Spirit: The baptism of the Holy Spirit was first given to believers on the day of Pentecost. We believe in praying in tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance. With the baptism in the Holy Spirit comes the endowment of power, the bestowment of the gifts, and their uses in the ministry of the Body of Christ. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. (Acts 1:4; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; Acts 8:12-17; Acts 10:44-46).
Gifts Of The Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is manifested through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel. All believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives. These gifts always operate in harmony with the Scriptures and should never be used in violation of Biblical parameters. (Romans 1:11; Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 4:16; I Corinthians 12:1-31; I Corinthians 14:1-40; Hebrews 2:4; I Peter 4:10).
Five-Fold Ministry: The five-fold ministry offices of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers are gifts given to the Body of Christ. They are an extension of the ministry of Jesus Christ. These gifts are for the equipping of believers to do the work of the ministry. We believe both men and women are sovereignly chosen by God to operate in these ministry functions. We believe that these ministry functions are called to serve the Body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:8-16; I Corinthians 12:4-31; Matthew 20:26; Philippians 4:3; Romans 16:1-7).
The Church Of God: The church is made up of those (all over the world) who have put their trust and faith in Jesus Christ as both Lord and Savior. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all His commandments, and it seeks to bring the Gospel to the world. The church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ. (Matthew 16:18-19; Acts 2:41-47; Acts 5:11-14; Acts 13:1-3; Ephesians 1:22-23; Colossians 1:18).
